Hm. Maybe you could give a little more information … i.e., which browser and version, an example of a site that’s not working, maybe a screen shot? Depending on the answers there could be a few different things to try.
Another thing to think about is, “what did I change recently?” Did you install anti-virus, or a toolbar, or run Windows update about the time the problem started?
Hey Danny,
As Ben said, it would help to know the browser, your OS, etc. There have been cases of java script not working for a day and then coming back the next (without provocation), but it is rare. It has happened to me, and I have several suggestions if Ben’s ideas don’t work out. Knowing Ben’s computer genius though, I’ll save my breath for the time being. 🙂
Hope it all works out.
I’m using Firefox and Windows XP.
Hm, have you added any extensions recently … say, for instance, a version of AdBlocker? When I first installed AdBlocker, it broke GMail. I had to designate GMail as a “Don’t block” site.
Hmm… I have tried several things, and I can get into email now. But I still can’t get into Google Reader. Also some websites are not displaying images, etc…
Thanks for the advice so far, and I will keep you guys updated 🙂
