Why the iPad Will Succeed

From the New York Times:

The iPad is not a laptop. It’s not nearly as good for creating stuff. On the other hand, it’s infinitely more convenient for consuming it.

Apple has tapped into the root of our culture: consumption. And they will probably be successful because of it.

(Of course, this is another symptom of the problem(s) in our churches, but that’s another post for another day).
