Today, my lovely and wonderful wife turns 26.
She is a wonderful and amazing person. Let me illustrate:
Last night, on our way to go to a nice dinner for her birthday, I got sick. Really sick. We turned around to go back home (a bummer in itself), and as we were driving I puked on myself. Yeah. Fun.
Laura is amazing, because, though I kept apologizing, she wouldn’t let me feel bad. Then, we got home, while I was sitting and laying on the bathroom floor, she took care of me. It was like her birthday dinner didn’t matter, because I was sick. It made me cry. She then called a girl from work for me and explained how sick I was, asking if she could cover this morning’s shift.
That is Jesus-like and Spirit-wrought love.
Laura, you are the most amazing person I know.
Happy birthday, my love!
