Tim Lincecum is a stud.

Sure, he looks like he’s 14. But he’s 4-0, with the third lowest ERA (1.23) and the most strikeouts (36) in the majors. There is reason to hope and cheer, ye downcast Giants’ fans.

  1. OK, I am not a Giants fan–by God’s grace and mercy, I grew up in the St. Louis area a Cardinals fan!–but I have enjoyed having Lincecum on my fantasy team. Even when he made the Cardinals his little pitching practice session!

I’m glad you were able to find some joy amid the sorrow! The Giants were rumored to be considering trading Lincecum this past winter… that would have been another Zito-like blunder!

As as Cards fan you should be glad that you have seen something I may not ever see — a World Series ring on your players’ hands :)

It is great to go to a game where he pitches… if he keeps this up he will be starting the All Star game for the NL (a la Dan Haren last year).

On another Giants related note… how about Sanchez? He is a strikeout machine as well. The Giants are a little surprising this year, they are putting together a good streak of games right now.

You just had to rub in that you get to go to games huh :)

  5. Tato says:

Nah… didn’t mean to do that =). I went to opening night, that is all so far. I like going to games, but actually kind of prefer to watch it on TV, unless the weather is perfect.

You can go to games, just not SF Giants games.

  6. Tato says:

    After today’s game… Lincecum – the anti-Zito
